Most guys don’t look their best simply because they are lazy. If you want to be stylish to stand out in a crowd of guys who all look the same or to look your best you have to put in some effort.
Today I have a list of seven things that stylish guys do and that you should probably start doing as well.

• Dressing Well Is A Skill

You need to understand that dressing well is a skill, and just like any other skill like playing the guitar or speaking in different languages it actually can be learned through practice and will only be learned through practice. It’s not something that you’re born with. The more you study how to dress well, how to make deliberate decisions on how you look then the easier it’s gonna come to you. Learn what brands fit you best and what colors suit your skin tone learn to layer clothing to create that stylish outfit that you’ve been looking to wear. Start paying attention to the texture of your clothing.

• Follow Fashion Influencers

Now the second tip that I have for you is to find and follow fashion influencers on IG and tick tock I would be very happy if you followed me but that’s not what this is about this is about finding your dream style, your ideal style and it might not be fine and that’s OK for example if you wear a lot of suits at work and you need to look stylish you should probably find someone who posts that kind of content post suits right if you wanna dress edgier there are accounts who post that if you want to dress for the colder weather maybe someone in London or New York City might be a better follow then LA.
Here’s why you should do that, the more you immerse yourself in your ideal style the more you see it the more you understand it the better you become at it right. You see it becomes second nature just becomes kind of what your routine you see how guys are dressed you kind of copy that dressing style until you find your own style and that’s how this works.

• Pay Attention To The Fit

3. Next, you need to pay attention to the fit this is clearly one of the most important factors when it comes to fashion and style and the cool thing about style nowadays is that you can wear slim or baggy pants and boxy or fitted Tees and it’s all trending you don’t have to pick one.

However you do need to understand the rules when you’re choosing the fit, a quick example is you need to understand that skinny jeans and baggy jeans don’t go well together and vice versa. A tight T-Shirt in baggy pants won’t look good together either these outfits need to flow you know it needs to be consistent from top to bottom if you’re going baggy then go baggy all the way, the chunky sneakers to the wide pants to the boxy teeth. If you’re going fitted then go with the slim chinos sleek sneakers and a fitted T-shirt.

• Try New Outfit Combinations

4. Stylish guys practice wearing their clothes on a daily basis. Right means they try new outfit combinations they change it up you never know what you’re gonna end up creating when you’re mixing and matching different pieces in your closet and it’s awesome sometimes I’ll come up with a new amazing outfit from old clothes that I’ve had for such a long time and that I never realized that they could go well together.

You know think of it like building legos right all the parts are there if you have all the parts but you can decide what to build when you’re putting it all together. Let’s go through a quick exercise here to visualize your favorite outfit that you wear the most now swap the pants for different colors or cargo pants instead of jeans or what if you wore boots instead of sneakers with that fit? There’s so much that you can do and it’s actually super fun to get creative to enjoy the process and practice mixing and matching what you already have.

• Find A Good Tailor

5. Next up you need to find a good tailor alright turn that tailor into your family member you’re gonna need this person on your side of the court a good tailor will take your jeans and maybe you’re too long or too loose on your waist and make you look like you’re drowning in them and make them fit you perfectly.

This is not an overstatement he’s going to change your life this Taylor I’m telling you instead of you never wearing those pants because they don’t fit you well or maybe worse buying new pants and spending more money just find a tailor who’s gonna charge you 15 bucks to alter the ones that you already own and not only they’re gonna fit better but you also save money guys so why not.

• Be Open-Minded

6. My next tip is to be open-minded when it comes to style when it comes to fashion you need to understand that not everyone is gonna have the same taste and that’s what makes it fun you know I don’t get 100 percent positive comments on every outfit that I post not for everyone that’s OK if every guy always wore the same thing same T-shirt same jeans same suit if everyone had the same style how boring would the world be.

Fashion is supposed to be fun when you put on an outfit that matches your personality right that matches your mood you look in the mirror and you’re like, I love what I see it’s a beautiful feeling it gives you that confidence boost to go out there and have an incredible day and that’s what I want for you guys.

And people have different foods and different personalities so let them wear whatever they want and if you wanna try something different don’t be afraid to try just because you’re friends you’re not gonna wear a crossbody bag doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either experiment be open-minded and trust me your style will evolve.

• Invest In A Steamer

7. And the next step is to invest in a steamer or iron, wrinkly clothes are naughty alright it makes you look lazy like you just slept in those clothes you rolled around you woke up and now you’re wearing the same clothes so make sure you steam or iron your clothes to look your best.
